Ingredients
- 1 jar Watcharee’s Thai Curry Sauce (Red, Green, Yellow, or Massaman)
- 1 lb fresh fish of your choice, cut into small pieces (or fish trim)
- Optional: firm tofu (for a plant-based substitute)
- Optional: scallions, sliced
- Optional: bell pepper, diced
Directions
- Fill a pot with 1–2 inches of water and bring to a boil. Place a steaming rack or basket inside, making sure the water does not touch the fish.
- Place fish (or tofu) on a heatproof plate. Add optional scallions and diced bell peppers on top for extra flavor.
- Carefully place the plate into the steamer, cover, and steam over medium heat for 10–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
- Carefully remove the plate and pour off any liquid released during steaming to keep the flavor clean and concentrated.
- Spoon or gently pour your choice of Watcharee’s Thai Curry Sauce (Red, Green, Yellow, or Massaman) over the fish.
- Steam for 1–2 more minutes to heat the sauce through, or heat the curry sauce in the microwave for 1 minute and pour over the fish.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and chili if desired. Serve immediately with jasmine rice or noodles.
