  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 4 cups panko Japanese bread crumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbs. water (to make egg wash)
  • 1 tbs. water for AirFryer
  • Oil sprayer (with healthy oil of your choice)

Directions

  1. Soak the clams for two or three hours, drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Bring one inch of water in a pot with a tight-fitting lid to simmer.
  3. Cover the pot and steam for about 7-10 minutes until clams open.
  4. Do not overcook the steamers.

  6. To prepare egg wash, crack eggs in a small bowl and whisk the eggs with water.
  7. Dip steamers or other seafood in flour and shake off excess flour.
  8. Coat the steamers with egg wash and press the steamers gently into panko and coat completely.
  9. For other seafood, such as cod, cut into small pieces and go through the same process.
  10. Set Philips AirFryer to 350F.
  11. Add 1 tbs. of water to the bottom of the AirFryer.
  12. Mist steamers with oil sprayer and place in the basket inside the AirFryer for 7-10 minutes depending on the size of steamers or seafood.
  13. Remove from the basket and serve with WATCHAREE’s pad Thai sauce.
  14. Alternatively, heat oil in a pan or deep fryer to 375F.
  15. Fry clams or seafood until golden brown for 4-5 minutes.
  16. Drain on paper towels and serve with WATCHAREE’s pad Thai sauce.
