Ingredients
- 1/3 bottle WATCHAREE'S Thai Basil & Garlic Sauce
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 5 squid tubes or bodies, cleaned and cut into small bite-size pieces
- 6–8 shrimp, deveined and peeled
- 4–5 stems fresh holy basil or sweet basil
- 1 small bell pepper, julienned
- 2–3 fresh red chilies, sliced (optional)
- 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce (optional)
- 1/3 cup seafood or chicken stock or water (optional)
- Jasmine rice or noodles, for serving
Directions
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add squid and shrimp. Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes until the shrimp starts turning pink and the squid becomes opaque.
- Add bell peppers and fresh red chilies if using. Stir-fry briefly.
- Pour in 1/3 bottle of WATCHAREE'S Thai Basil & Garlic Sauce. Add 1/3 cup stock if using for a lighter sauce consistency. Add fish sauce if desired and stir-fry for another 2–3 minutes until everything is cooked through and coated in sauce.
- Add fresh holy basil or sweet basil and stir until wilted and fragrant. Turn off the heat and serve hot with jasmine rice and Thai Nam Pla Prik for extra heat and brightness.
